In order to earn a complimentary entry to the Twin Cities Marathon from Ruff Start Rescue, you must raise at least $500. If you agree to raise the funds, reply to this email to let me know. I'll then provide you with registration instructions, including a promo code to waive your entry fee. We ask that you reach the $500 fundraising requirement by September 9th. If you aren’t able to meet the $500 fundraising requirement by September 9th, we will invoice you for the remaining amount. For example, if you have raised $400, you would be responsible for submitting the remaining $100 or risk having your entry canceled (this is to ensure that Ruff Start doesn't end up losing money from the charity program since we still pay for the race entries). We will check in with you periodically to see how your fundraising is going and can provide some flexibility if you are close to meeting the minimum.

Ruff Start Rescue is a foster-based nonprofit companion animal rescue that radiates compassion and dedication. Our unwavering mission extends beyond borders, reaching communities throughout Minnesota and the southern states plagued by stray pet overpopulation. We fearlessly rescue the voiceless victims of neglect, abandonment, and despair—dogs, cats, ferrets, guinea pigs, rabbits, and many other critters. Our tireless efforts are propelled by volunteers, fosters, and supporters who unite as a force of unwavering love, saving thousands of lives. Since its inception in 2010, Ruff Start has saved over 28,000 lives!

Ruff Start Rescue exists because of the incredible generosity of our supporters. Donations support the care of animals in rescue by providing medical care and supplies they need. Donations from animal lovers like you make our lifesaving work possible, and we sincerely appreciate your support!

Medtronic Twin Cities 10 Mile — $500

If you agree to raise the funds, please complete the authorization form. You'll then receive registration instructions, including a promo code to waive your entry fee.

Next, you will create a fundraising page and start fundraising! We ask that you reach the $500 fundraising requirement by September 9, 2025.
