2026 Ruff Start Rescue Charity Team - Grandma's Marathon & Half Marathon

Ruff Start Rescue is a foster-based nonprofit companion animal rescue that radiates compassion and dedication. Our unwavering mission extends beyond borders, reaching communities throughout Minnesota and the southern states plagued by stray pet overpopulation. We fearlessly rescue the voiceless victims of neglect, abandonment, and despair—dogs, cats, ferrets, guinea pigs, rabbits, and many other critters. Our tireless efforts are propelled by volunteers, fosters, and supporters who unite as a force of unwavering love, saving thousands of lives. Since its inception in 2010, Ruff Start has saved over 31,000 lives!

Grandma’s Marathon — $500
Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon — $500

Join the team:
To earn a complimentary entry to the Grandma’s Marathon or Garry Bjorklund half-marathon from Ruff Start Rescue, you must raise at least $500 by May 10, 2026. If you agree to raise the funds, please click "Join the Team" on the right-hand side to create your fundraising page. Then, complete the authorization form. Afterwards, Brittany will send you registration instructions, including a promo code to waive your entry fee.
