Dunkin’s Holiday Miracle in the Making

Abandoned just weeks before the holiday… 💔 Dunkin is a 5-month-old pittie puppy who should be full of energy, mischief, and puppy joy… but instead, he’s been fighting to survive. He’s so tiny that everyone initially thought he was just 8 weeks old, but the truth is far more heartbreaking. Dunkin was found alone in an apartment stairwell, presumed abandoned, and brought to animal control. His tiny body told a devastating story: his ribs and hips jut out, his little feet are splayed from spending most of his short life confined, and he’s full of worms. His level of emaciation shows he’s likely been malnourished his entire life. Despite it all, he’s incredibly sweet and trusting. A true fighter. He tested negative for parvo (a small blessing in a sea of worry), but he hasn’t received medical treatment beyond being placed on a careful refeeding plan. He needs complete vetting, diagnostics, supportive care, and a whole lot of love to begin healing. With Christmas just two weeks away, we want Dunkin’s story to change from abandonment to a miracle.
