Ruff Start Rescue is thrilled to announce a $10,000 MATCH for our annual Local Love Campaign!

Ruff Start Rescue is committed to providing assistance with the overflow of animals, and the need for resources to care for these local animals. But, we can’t do it alone. Our goal during the month of May is to assist our local impounds by helping 100 local animals get into rescue - in the 31 days of May! We urgently need your help.

Right now, animal shelters across Minnesota and beyond are facing a dire situation. Over the last few years, there has been an increase in owner surrenders and stray animals populating local shelters and rescues. Most impound facilities lack the resources for public adoptions, and are simply not equipped to handle such a large influx of pets. As a result, they are continuously at capacity, looking for rescues and the community to help alleviate the pressure, and create more space for the animals that need their support.
