Rescuing animals is close to my heart, as I'm so lucky to have had the opportunity to rescue my girl, Luna, in 2019. Additionally, I'm doubly fortunate, as my guy, Ben, rescued Peeve earlier this year. Both Luna and Peeve bring so much joy to my life. While I wish I could take in a thousand more fur kiddos, I simply can't. However, I'm grateful that Ruff Start is partnering with Grandma's Marathon, allowing me to help raise money for foster dogs, cats, and other animals until they find their fur-ever home. I'm not very good at reaching out to ask for help. Any amount to help reach my goal is greatly appreciated and will support the animals at Ruff Start. I will be thinking of them with each mile I conquer, as I am dedicated to achieving my fundraising goal. Here's to running all 26.2 miles to help the fur babies awaiting their fur-ever homes!
